TryAthletes Events

2013 is off to a great start as we are delighted to have supporters signed up to the Bath Half Marathon on 3rd March, and the Royal Parks Half Marathon in London on 6th October, and raising sponsorship for Funding Neuro – thank you to the ladies who have kindly chosen to support us with their runs this year.

For our Glasgow runners, there could be something much closer to home to get you out training…?

South Lanarkshire Leisure & Culture’s Duathlon:: Sunday 10th March
£21 to enter, but rather than having to run the whole way, this race in Strathclyde Park is split into a 5k run, 20k bike, and finally another 5k run…any takers? Some of our TryAthletes are getting involved!!

Hoka Highland Fling:: Saturday 27th April
This 53 mile run along the West Highland Way is now full, with many of our TryAthletes having signed up already. If you would like to learn more about this event please visit:

BUPA Womens 10K:: Sunday 12th May
£25 to enter, and this includes your pink t-shirt, medal, finishers pack and chip timing

Alan’s Half Ironman!
Sunday 28th July:: Zurich, Switzerland
TryAthlete Alan Kennedy is taking on the massive challenge of a half iron man, in Switzerland, in July! This is no mean feat…for more information on what he is undertaking, check out Alan’s TryAthletes page on Facebook here

Bank of Scotland Great Scottish Run:: Sunday 6th October
Mixed 10K or half marathon taking a route across the Kingston Bridge and along the streets of Glasgow
