Bryn’s Blog :: Peel

Yesterday was awful. The weather was foul, visibility minimal and the path treacherous. People were slipping and falling on the first descent and our group called it a day after two hours. Eddie made it to the end and Leona and Collette got over the three peaks before resorting to public transport.

For me seeing my dad slip and fall in slow motion of the path was horrible. Tony, as ever had the mood-lightening remark. “Alec, I’m glad I lived long enough to see that. It was like a new born giraffe going home from the pub.”
